35 weeks pregnant and...?

so im just now 35weeks pregnant and my mucus plug has come out, im almost 2 cm dilated today is weds and they want me back in friday and then next tuesday. they said she is close 2 being head down. this is my first baby. i went in to the e.r. bc i had a bladder infection last week im on meds. they told me they want me on bed rest i know you can be 2cm dilated for like ever but has this happened 2 anyone else? do you know when i should go into labor? shes 5.25lbs
