Fairly new washing machine caught on fire. Is there anything I can do?

I would call the store that you bought it from, ask to speak to the manager...explain to them what had happen. Then I would wait before saying anything else for their response....then if they do not come up with a solution, then let them know that this is unacceptable! Very calmly, you tell them that you expect for them to do something about it, paper work or no paper work...that 6 months, when these machines are built to last years! Then you continue to tell them, that what if you were not at home when this happened...that is machine is a hazard and that if they do not do something about then you will....then call your local news channel, and tell them about the dangers of this washer machine. You tell the manager of the store that you will be doing that before you do it! And, Call the people who made the thing also!! Yes, fight this....what if you were not home??? Scary thought!
