I need info on the "must see or do places" in New Orleans?

My friend's 25th wedding anniversary is next month and she is taking him to New Orleans. None of us have ever been so I need help finding out all the must see and do places. They are staying on the French Quarter. Also, if anyone has any romantic ideas for around there and any places to eat that are one of those genuine new orleans restaurants?
